Under section 16(2A) of the Reserves Act 1977, and a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Porirua City Council, pursuant to a resolution dated 7 March 2024, gives notice that:

1. the reserves described in the First Schedule are classified as recreation reserve;
2. the reserves described in the Second Schedule are classified as scenic reserve (section 19(1)(b) Reserves Act);
3. the reserve described in the Third Schedule are classified as local purpose reserve (neighbourhood);
4. the reserve described in the Fourth Schedule are classified as local purpose reserve (esplanade);
5. the reserve described in the Fifth Schedule are classified as local purpose reserve (access);
6. the reserve described in the Sixth Schedule are classified as local purpose reserve (utility); and
7. the reserve described in the Seventh Schedule are classified as local purpose reserve (drainage);

subject to the provisions of the Reserves Act 1977.
