1. Under section 131B of the Electricity Industry Act 2010, the Electricity Authority Te Mana Hiko (“Authority”) gives notice of the adoption of the amended System Operator Rolling Outage Plan (“SOROP”) proposed to the Authority by the system operator on 31 May 2024, and approved by the Authority under clause 7.21(2)(a) of the Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010 (“Code”), as having legal effect as part of the Code.

2. The amended SOROP has legal effect from 1 September 2024.

3. A copy of the SOROP and the Code is available on the Authority’s website http://www.ea.govt.nz/code-and-compliance/the-code/.

4. A copy of the SOROP and the Code may also be inspected free of charge or purchased from the Electricity Authority, Level 7, Aon Centre, 1 Willis Street, Wellington.
