Approved on 27 June 2024 in accordance with section 223 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, Maritime New Zealand (“Maritime NZ”) gives notice that the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety, and the Associate Minister for Transport have approved the Approved Code of Practice for Loading and Unloading Cargo at Ports and on Ships.

Dated at Wellington this 27th day of June 2024.

The approved code of practice will come into force on 29 November 2024 and will be available on Maritime NZ’s website.
