Pursuant to section 31 of the District Court Act 2016 and section 7 of the Family Courts Act 1980, Her Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand is pleased to appoint

Annis Eve Somerville, retiring District Court Judge

to be an Acting District Court Judge, and also to exercise the jurisdiction in the Family Courts for a term of two years commencing on 10 June 2017.
